This is not that hard to accomplish. I can keep the bar meter on W, pratically, full time, once I get to the first enemy.

Still waiting for a reply in my last question...

Although, Exhaust VL works ok.

It works for me. Keep trying it. I just kept using combos at random until it showed the achievement symbol.
