HELICOPTERS

Can anyone think of any AWESOME Helicopter experiences in games? Can be any game on any platform, but I'm interested in flash games.
Researching design ideas involving helicopters.

No...not really, because I don't really play helicopter games that much anyway but I remember playing a flash game with a helicopter in it called Secure The Deck a few years ago and Roflcopter but thats all really.

I have a real oldie!

Extreme Assault!

That is a REALLY old Dos based (however there is versions that work on old windows) game where you play as a helicopter.

The game is 3D, with VERY simple grafic. you have no in-game mouse input, so you play with both hands on the keyboard, needing buttons (and fingers) for: Up, Down, Forward, Backward, Turn left, turn right, (if you hold an other, special button, you strafe right or left instead of turn), as well as buttons for: fire, change weapon, 3 kinds of missiles and lock-on-target.

I would tell you more, but I think you would understand me better if you tried it yourself. IMO it's one of the better helicopter games I have played, even tho it's VERY old. (1997 or something if I am not completely wrong) Created By BlueByte.

You will also later in the game play as a Tank, but you asked for helicopter, so i won't bring that up.

Battlefield 2 and 3, call of duty series.....Basically every war game.
