This game is going to too awesome, it isn't long until its released now i think
This is what 'I' Think about the story,
[ I AM NOT SAYING THIS IS THE STORY, I AM ONLY SAYING THAT THIS IS WHAT I THINK THE STORY IS. IS IS SURELY ALL WRONG OR IS FULL OF HOLES, BUT AS I SAID, THIS IS NOT THE TRUE STORY, ITS JUST WHAT MY OWN OPINION IS ]
I have played all the games a few times, and read the forums and even looked/read at some of Dans sites and looked at his cool looking art and took parts from Contrast, filled the blank spots with own thoughts
and put the pieces together.
I KNOW 'CONTRAST AND 'ARMED WITH WINGS ISN'T THE SAME, BUT THEY ARE 'BASED' OF ONEOTHER, SO THATS WHY, AS I SAID (again) THIS IS JUST MY OWN IDEA OF EVERYTHING, so no flaming please
A long time ago, the world was made of white-mist, or just 'Mist. It was that way that "God" witch name Was: Mist, had created the world.
But it came an evil entity, that was so evil and so dark, so black, that he changed the very foundation of the world, and changed his own essence into the very first 'Black-mist, and he started to "leak" his own essence, the black-mist, witch corrupted the 'Mist and turned it into blackmist. To survive, that entity needed to absorb other creatures that Had been corrupted by his blackmist. This entities name, Was: Nebula.
Time passed, and the world was starting to be corrupted in a global scale, the humans, witch didn't know what the blackmist was, was starting to panic, and unrest was rising in the kingdom of man as scientists tried to figure out what blackmist was, where it came from, and how to stop it.
Then, when a poor child had been abandoned, all alone, about to die of his wounds, Nebula, by some unknown reason, came to this boys aid, and gave him a part of his power, to control the 'Blackmist. But this power started to slowly, eat, devourered and corrupt his soul.
As His power grew and he learned many great secrets of the world, and the panic in the kingdom increased, The Boy, now to be man, Used his powers, to claim the thrown himself, and with his powers, controled ed the kingdom with an iron grip, and silenced the panic and created a new order in his new kingdom.
This Man Called himself by the Name: Vandheer Lorde.
But not everyone was please with his rule, and a great rebellion started against the king. Great armies fought and kingdom was in a catastrophic disaster. But the king couldn't accept any rebellion against him, and with the help of some local Elite warriors, and his "Divine" Powers, He and his group killed all that was against him with brutal force. Last, but not least, Vandheer himself killed the mysterious, but great warrior that was the rebel leader.
Everything was under control again, he thought...
After the rebellion was silenced, His a few from his elite group of warriors that started to call them self: The red samurais, has started their own plans of rebellion against the king, Vandheer lorde.
And when the time was right, when the Moon shined Red, a Man named: Hawkins, with the forced cooperation of a woman called Eviana, did a sneak operation, and sneaked in the capital castle to confront the king and kill him, empowered by the power the red moon gives to them able of gaining its extreme powers. Only to find the king not there.
They forced the guard to tell them the location of the king, and sneaked out to the Devils Hills, the place where Vandheer had trained his group, his "brotherhood" of elite warriors.
But then they faced the king, they found out that he also had the ability to absorb the power of the Red moon. And they was both defeated by vandheer, But in the Last Moment, when Vandheer was to deal the killing blow, He was interrupted By the Worlds "God", Mist himself!!
But the "god" 'Mist, witch also, was made out of 'Mist, as everything else in the world, had also been corrupted By the Dark and Evil Blackmist, and turned evil himself, and had a new name: 'Blackmist.
Blackmist, who didn't like vandheers actions, had been watching, and had plans of removing vandheer as king, and ruling himself instead, But he feared a direct confrontation, Because Blackmist didn't knew what powers Vandheer was, how powerful they were, or even from where he had gotten his powers.
But blackmist knew, by divine means, that Hawkins could Help him later on, But that eviana would help destroy him, so he let Eviana fight herself to close death, but when when vandheer lorde was to kill Hawkin, he acted, and stopped vandheer to kill him, and let him escape, but when hawkin escaped, he saved Eviana at the same time, because, even in a twisted way, he loved Eviana.
and they both escaped alive, But exiled from the kingdom.
A few years later, Blackmist was still afraid of a direct confrontation with vandheer, he used his powers over the 'ones mist, now 'Blackmist, and brought back, and revived the great, mysterious warrior who lead the rebellion against vandheer, and Armed him with great, "Divine" powers, and turned into the being: Armed with Wings.
Blackmist focused him on bringing vandheer Lorde to an end.
Armed with wings, slashed his way trough guards, traps and great defences, and directly confronted Vandheer lorde at his thrown... Vandheer Escaped at the last moment, wowed that he would comeback and reclaim his thrown.
As he saw the power in the situation, he went back to his exiled group of elite warriors: The red samurais, and explained the situation. They was against it at first, but said that they would help.
Blackmist, at the same time, enlightened Armed with Wings the reason behind his resurrection, and resurrected other leaders from the rebellion army, and sent them away to guard great secret, the only power able to 'Kill Blackmist!:The Blades Of Eden.
But vandheer knew about this secret, he had learned about them when he grew in his powers, and had once even owned all 4 blades, but for security reasons, hid them all in 4 different locations, and he hid one of them in the temple where he exiled the red samurais. With the power of the water blade of eden, he and the others went of a quest to collect all 4 blades of eden, witch combined power could destroy blackmist, and they way permanently kill the rebel leader, witch Vandheer thought was the main source behind all events.
But blackmist came to hawkins, and presented the option of great power and even immortality, if he gave him one of the blades of eden. Hawkin, who longed for power and revenge against Vandheer for almost killing then earlier, accepted the deal. But, he still felt Love for eviana, and told her about the deal, and offered her the same, But eviana, witch already was a mother, and blaimed hawkin for her almost death, and that her son: Leo, had to grow up in the world as an exiled, witch drastically risked his well-being, She betrayed hawkins and rushed to vandheer to tell him about hawkins plan, in a try to seek redemption for her earlier acts against him, and prove her loyalty. But hawkin followed Eviana and backstab her, leaving the scene, reviling his betrayal himself to vandheer
Vandheer followed hawkins, and killed him, cursing him for his betrayal, as Evianas Son found Eviana badly wounded, but alive, and treated her wounds, and saved his mothers life.
Vandheer, after killing hawkins, and only having 3 out of 4 of the blades of eden, because hawkin giving the last blade of eden, lightning, to Blackmist. Vandheer lorde directly confronts Armed with Wings, and this time, he comes prepared and defeats Him. But he then are told about the true source behind everything, Blackmist Himself! Vandheer that don't believe what he hears challenge blackmist directly, provoking him to show his divine power. Then Blackmist enters Armed with Wings body, showing himself in a kind of human "avatar" form, revealing all the killed, revived, killed again, and revived again, and sealing Vandheer lorde away with his divine powers, as an answer to his challenge.
Eviana, unknowing of what happened up in the castle between vandheer and blackmist, she tries to love on a normal life with her son, Leo, but soon detects an increase in dark creatures around the world, and together with her son, who have trained sens he was a small child, and lived a hard life, growing up exiled from the kingdom together with the red samurais, go out on a new adventure to find the source of the dark creatures and what happened that day after vandheer followed hawkins and confronted blackmist.

Dan, i know this is probably VERY wrong in MANY aspects, but we have never been given the "whole" complete story, so please Dan...
( don't complain to much at the story, that's to everyone btw )
...After you are finished with armed with wings 3, Can you PLEASE tell us the whole story as complete, the way YOU see it. maybe you have already started doing that with contrast, then i cant wait reading more contrast after Armed with Wings 3 is complete
Can't wait to know how this awesome story ends. Good luck finishing the game quick, and hope you get ALOT of money from the game, you deserve it
guess that would look kinda wierd.. and, is there a "light" black/grey world AND a "dark" black world? or is it just background changes and stuff that fools my brain? 
And i like that kick-ass sword with spikes on both sides, its looks like it HURTS, they have a greate design, nothing bad, but the swords in AWW2 was a little bit, too much, for my taste, but hey, they was the BLADES OF EDEN! so they are to look KICK-ASS 
This looks like it's going to be the best AwW game yet. Nice work Dan.
