Contrast 7 preview

by Daniel Sun Wed Mar 24, 2010 1:29 pm

I got myself some brushes, pens and ink. I wanted to do Contrast traditionally. Turned out to be harder and more time consuming. What do you guys this about the follow picture?

I'm thinking that I'll do the cover art with inks and the rest on the wacom. Still, inks are alot of fun to work with.

This, I guess, is a reply to the Photoshop thread and also this thread:

I have no idea how you do it. You said it took you two hours to do that animation on the photoshop thread and it's so time consuming to do this one. I wouldn't have the patience! I guess I'm just not that kind of guy. I'm more like... in and out. I guess if I had to I could but I think I'd just lose interest. I've always been like that.

I like the idea of animating and all. I'd love to make some kind of movie but I honestly don't want to take the time to learn photoshop and flash etc. I'm sure some will say it's easy but I don't know that kind of technology.

I ain't got no skillllllllz.

I don't care how you draw the comics (inks, digital...etc.), as long as I get to read it, I'll be satisfied.

Like everyone else said, the old way is the right way (i guess) there is nothing wrong with the art, in fact it is fan fucking tastic but it just doesn't fit in.

I Respectfully disagree, Art is normally not free, then again it depends on the Artist and how good their art is....

What he's trying to say is that it is free to make art. It's an expression of freedom, not criminality. Although I suppose it could technically lead to the second.
